Welcome!  In order to keep you and instructors safe, please wear your mask in the studio until seated on your mat.  Please bring your own mat and props to class, as well.  Thank you for your cooperation.  

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Vinyasa Flow 1

Vinyasa Flow 1 classes emphasize linking breath with movement. Teachers guide students into mindfully moving from one pose to the next. There are more weight-bearing poses (such as planks) taught in Flow classes along with a quicker pace.  Arm balances and inversions are often introduced. However, variations and modifications are offered so that each student is both accommodated and challenged. No experience is necessary.

Vinyasa Flow 2

Vinyasa Flow 2 classes are medium paced and designed to get you moving.  Teachers will emphasize linking breath with movement and guide students into mindfully moving from one pose to the next. There are weight-bearing poses (such as planks) taught, and an exploration of arm balances and inversions are often included.  Moderate-challenging poses are taught.  Some experience is recommended.

Gentle Yoga

This is a slow paced class with less physically demanding postures.  Gentle Yoga helps students experience balance and harmony through a slow and mindful yoga practice, designed to release tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. Teachers place a strong emphasis on self-awareness, breath and honoring the body. No experience is necessary.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle, slow paced class where students move through an array of postures using a chair as a prop. Breathing cues and meditation are incorporated to ease mental and emotional stress and to encourage the body to relax at the end of each class. Students can experience the benefits of yoga without having to get up and down from the floor, which makes this class wonderful for those with aches and pains, difficulty standing or balancing, or with limited range of motion.

This class offers a blend of yin and restorative postures for a gentle class that emphasizes floor work. Postures are held for a longer amount of time than in traditional hatha yoga using props to support the body, allowing each student to find the target area and the body to settle in. Yin yoga applies a different set of guidelines to your practice that focuses on the deeper connective tissue in and around the joints to create healthier and stronger tissues in these areas. The perfect complement to your active exercise practice! This is a laid back, calm, class environment Expect to leave class feeling restored in body, mind, & spirit.

No previous experience necessary.

All Levels

These classes help one experience balance and harmony through a slow and mindful yoga practice, designed to release tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. Teachers place a strong emphasis on self-awareness, breath and honoring the body.

No experience is necessary. This class is appropriate for both beginners and students with limitations as well as experienced practitioners looking for a less physically challenging and more relaxation-based practice.

Cardio Yoga

This is a medium to fast paced yoga practice, designed to get you moving and your heart pumping. There are weight-bearing poses taught, and the pace is quick.  Moderately challenging poses are taught, and an exploration of arm balances and inversions may be offered.  Some experience is strongly recommended; however, variations and modifications are offered so that each student is both accommodated and challenged.

Yin Yoga

This class offers a blend of yin and restorative postures for a gentle class that emphasizes floor work. Hot Yoga

Be ready to sweat and move! This rigorous 60-minute yoga class will challenge and energize your mind and body. It promises to elevate your heart rate, tone your muscles and strengthen your core. Set to energizing music in a heated room, this class incorporates challenging postures and creative sequences for a truly unique and exciting workout. It's a great way to introduce heat into your practice. Some experience is recommended; however, variations and modifications are offered so that each student is both accommodated and challenged.
